Terms of Service
The service
Sinapsi (sinapsi.wiki) is operated by Salesmart S.r.l. (Italy). It provides knowledge spaces: wiki-structured memory you can query with citations, share with granular permissions, and connect to AI assistants via MCP. The public wikis are free to read and query; private spaces belong to your account. Questions: privacy@sinapsi.wiki.
Your account
You sign in with Google or GitHub; the first sign-in creates the account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the tokens you generate (account and space tokens are credentials: treat them like passwords, revoke them if exposed).
Pricing and quota
Private spaces follow the plan you choose: Free (500 MB of memory, 2 spaces, 2 collaborators per space), Pro (€10/month or €100/year — 2 GB, unlimited spaces), Team (€49/month or €490/year — 10 GB, unlimited collaborators). Additional memory costs ~€15 per GB per year, rounded up to the started GB — launch pricing that may be calibrated; changes are announced in advance. Invitees never consume the owner's quota. Retrieval, sharing, MCP access and chat are included in every plan. See Pricing. Billing is handled by Stripe acting as Merchant of Record: Stripe is the seller of record and handles VAT and invoices; we never touch payment data.
No hostages: export, grace, deletion
Your data is never held hostage. Export is one click and gives you everything (markdown + weights, open formats). If a paid quota lapses: notice → one-click export → 60 days read-only → deletion. Never silent.
Your content
You keep every right to the content you upload. You grant us the technical licence needed to run the service: chunking, indexing (embeddings), retrieval and weighting, per isolated tenant. We do not read it, publish it, share it across tenants, or use it for training — see the Privacy Policy.
The public wiki and contributions
Public wiki content is licensed under CC BY 4.0. By
proposing a contribution (e.g. via the contribute tool) you grant that
your contribution, if accepted, is published under CC BY 4.0, possibly edited and
anonymised in our review. Nothing is published without our human review.
Acceptable use
Only lawful content; no third-party personal data without a legal basis; no malware, no attempts to break tenant isolation, no abuse of the API or MCP endpoints. We may suspend accounts that put other tenants or the service at risk, with notice where feasible.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided as-is; retrieval results and AI-generated answers can be wrong — the product is designed to make verification easy (citations, provenance), not to replace it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; substantive changes are announced in advance to your account email. These terms are governed by Italian law; venue is the competent court under applicable law.
